The Bread Shop, located at 6301 N Andrews Ave, Fort Lauderdale, is quickly becoming a go-to destination for Venezuelan cuisine enthusiasts. Renowned for its generous portions and friendly service, this restaurant excels in offering authentic dishes that resonate with patrons. Joanna Noel's experience highlights the exceptional customer service and delectable arepas, leaving her eager for a breakfast return. Lis praises the expansive menu featuring rare Venezuelan delicacies like cachitos and golfeados, setting The Bread Shop apart from typical offerings. However, not all feedback has been stellar. A reviewer expressed disappointment over a previous order, mentioning inconsistencies that could trouble loyal customers. Conversely, Alexis Morales raves about their steak sandwich, claiming it's the best he's ever had and regularly shares the restaurant with colleagues, always receiving positive feedback. Overall, while there may be occasional hiccups in service, The Bread Shop stands out for its authentic flavors, welcoming vibe, and the dedication of its staff. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, indulging in their thoughtfully crafted Venezuelan dishes promises a delightful culinary journey.

We were in the area from out of state and we were looking for a place for an arepa. The Bread shop had such amazing food and customer service. They were a very generous restaurant and we are planning to come back for breakfast! So awesome!

Fantastic everything. Perfect for when you NEED Venezuelan food. Many places will have cachapas/empanadas etc but not everywhere you can find a place that also has cachitos, golfeados, pasteles and all of that good stuff. 10/10

Update 2/6/25 Incredibly disappointed. Used to frequent this place a lot when I lived locally. I was in the area and ordered a sandwich the way I normally would back in the day without lettuce tomatoes but with extra potato sticks and pink sauce. I ordered to go. I get home to find everything on it and the sandwich is completely soggy. Pretty unbelievable, considering my order was confirmed twice before they made it. I will definitely not be going out of my way to come here again.

I work in a corporate office near this restaurant. I go here for lunch pretty often. I ALWAYS order the same thing. The steak sandwich. Its the best steak sandwich I’ve ever had. I very often bring people and tell people to come. I always get amazing feedback. If you’re looking for one of the best steak sandwiches you’ve ever had. Don’t pass this place up.

It has all the Venezuelan treats you may want. In my opinion it's more of a take out place. Love the empanada de pabellon and the fresh chee
